Our Wine
Shop is
located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley
of New York State in the town of Accord,
which was founded in 1703.
Accord Wines
specializes in fine wines, hand picked for quality
and value. There are over 500 varieties of
wine, including organic wines, and a
large selection of spirits.
Critic reviews and detailed
descriptions are available on nearly every
wine in the store.
The current
owners and operators are Richard and Vera
Schneider who have owned the business
since May,1985. One of their sons, Jeremy, works in the store helping
customers.
Built in the
early 1900’s, it was a General Store
and Barber Shop with a Billiard Hall in
the basement. In the
late1940’s it became a Liquor
Store.
